This post is dedicated to understanding the grassroots, understanding the basics of economics and global politics, and also learning how these two subjects are connected and applicable in real life. Reading this post will allow one to learn about the applications of knowledge in real life through the lens of different stakeholders.

As per my economics teacher, economics is a kind of behavioral science that is concerned with the different behaviours of buyers and sellers in different markets and situations. It talks about the different factors that have various impacts on demand and supply, along with the ways to measure those changes. This is where the integration of global politics comes into the picture. Global politics concerns itself with the daily issues taking place all around the world, be they wars, protests, environmental issues, crises, and much more.

By studying the impacts of global issues and relating them to changes in supply and demand, one can predict future trends. For example, due to the Russo-Ukraine war, a decline in the supply of agricultural products is seen, along with an increase in production costs and many other effects, which we will study together in one of our future blogs.
